W.C. Watson was born August 21, 1941, in Madison County, Georgia, to the late Gene and Mary Watson.

A TIME TO LIVE

W.C. was educated in the Madison County school system and attended Southside High School. W.C. was united in holy matrimony to Margaret Ann Brown (Watson) on his 17th birthday in 1958. W.C. and Margaret gave birth to two children, Michael and Gail Watson, and later moved to Manhattan, New York, where they gave birth to a third child, Willie Watson. W.C. began a career at New York City Hospital for nineteen years. In 1981, W.C. and his family moved back to Georgia where he started working at the University of Georgia for over twenty-five years at the president's house. W.C. and Margaret were also loving foster parents to many children. To know W.C. was to love him-he had a heart of gold and always took care of his wife and family.

A TIME TO CELEBRATE

W.C. took the Master's hand and began his journey into eternal life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Anthony Watson. Those left to cherish his memories: his wife, Margaret Watson; daughter, Gail Watson; sons, Willie Watson, Bryant Watson, and Dwayne Watson; grandchildren, Todrick Watson, Tierra Howard, and Chyres Laster; four great-grandchildren, Cordarious Williams, Chyrese Laster, Brailyn Watson, and Gianna Barrow; and a host of other family members and close friends who will miss him dearly for many days and years to come.
