Survivors include his sons, Glenn Tate, III and Willie (LaShondria) Smith; daughters, Thelma Adrienne (Anthony) Terrell and Fran (Nelson) Browner; siblings, Joe Tate, Lera Tate, William Tate, James Tate, Mitchell Tate, Dorothy Blackwell, Diane Norman; fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 1, 2018 from the Coy C. Williamson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, with interment in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
