Mother Pauline Smith

Our loving mother, Mrs. Pauline Whipple Smith, was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 13, 1933, to the late Mr. Arby and Odessa Jackson. She was married to Mr. John W. Smith, who preceded her in death in 2001. She transitioned home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Our mother was a very loving and special wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She served faithfully as a member to her church, under the leadership of Pastor Emeritus John E. Butler. She also served faithfully on the Mother Board and held the title as the oldest mother of the church until she gained her wings.

Our mother had two daughters, three sons, three sisters, and six brothers who all preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Janice (Timothy) Jones Peterson; son, Johnny Whipple; sister, Brenda Jackson; grandchildren, Michael Whipple, Stanley Whipple, Avery Whipple, Shelly Whipple, Sherrod Whipple, Samantha Turner, Jeffry Frantes, Anthony Whipple, and Tobias Peterson; great-grandchildren, Marshaila Jones, Anya Turner, Desium Smith, Travonte Turner, and Jemya Franks; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

I loved my mother very much and she will be with me in my heart each and every day.
