James E Johnson, resident of Athens ga. transitioned on July 3, 2022. He is survived by his wife Hollis; daughters, Zanetta Johnson-Smith (Rodney Smith) of Conyers Ga; Selena Brown of Conyers Ga; stepsons, David Brodie (Paula Brodie) of Shiloh I'll, Quinn Brodie of Atlanta Ga and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, 1:00pm at Gardenview Funeral Chapel in Athens Ga. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, send all donations to Good Hope Baptist Church, 187 Pope Miller Rd Hull Ga. 30646 or if the opportunity presents itself, perform a random act of kindness to honor James's memory.
